In trying to better secure unity as one American people, we cannot forget that it is the coming together of all ethnicities and cultures that makes this country great. In so doing, we must talk honestly and openly about our experiences as Americans. And we cannot overlook the experiences of the past, for it is in examining the past that we can better shape and determine the future.
I am a published writer and middle school English teacher. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies with a Creative Writing concentration, and a Master of Arts degree in English. My feature articles have been published in the nationally distributed LN Magazine, including one cover story.
